Our Story.
Back in the tail end of 2022 (basically prehistoric times in AI years), co-founders Phu Ngo and Matt Shih were working on a project that required highly specific visuals that mainstream image generators couldn’t produce. The only solution was open source - but it was unwieldy.
After buying an expensive computer off Amazon, which took ages to install complex open-source packages and ended up smoking up their room, they realized there must be other creators like them who needed the flexibility of open source without the hassle of installation and costly equipment. And as it turned out, they weren’t the only ones ...
