SailGP's Quest for Creative QR Code Artwork
For the Dubai Sail Grand Prix, SailGP and their agency, GMGN Labs, sought a unique way to engage fans and drive traffic to their loyalty program, The Dock. The challenge: create visually striking QR code designs that were not only functional but also memorable, blending seamlessly with SailGP’s iconic branding.
Our Approach
ThinkDiffusion Studio explored a variety of concepts and styles inspired by Dubai’s skyline, shoreline, and SailGP’s unmistakable boats. Each QR code was meticulously crafted to stand out as both a work of art and a functional tool for fan engagement.
Key design elements included:
- Integrating the Dubai Skyline and Shoreline: Infusing the city’s iconic landmarks into the QR code for a distinctly local feel.
- Creative QR Code Placement: Imagining QR codes on waves, underwater, or even in the sky to make them an immersive visual experience.
- Seamless Branding: Incorporating SailGP’s brand name and signature boats into the artwork for a cohesive and creative design.
